London 2017

Wow, that’s a helluva break in posts, but I honestly could not even keep up with posting stuff under #hetravelsforwork because Jay’s been traveling *a lot* of late, and most of it is overseas. 2017 has been a helluva adventure so far, and it doesn’t look like it’s going to change any time soon.

He had a work thing in London a couple of weeks ago, smashed in the middle of a few others, so I flew to London to hang out with him for the week, as I’d never been and have always wanted to see the city. We ended up staying at the hotel where the event was held, which was located right near Westminster Bridge. It was a great location, but there was a *TON* of construction, so it was a bit of a hassle on this particular trip. I saw all the requisite stuffs, and had a great time. It was a smidge less charming than I’d anticipated, but I did have a good time, and am *so* glad I went.

We had a few days to check out the sites before he had to speak at his shindig so we spent most of our time walking around the city and exploring 🙂

This turned out to be such a fun experience, and I’m so glad I got to go, but I’d say by far my favorite part of the trip was going to Victoria Apollo Theater and seeing Wicked!

Super fun city to visit, but I’m not gonna lie, I was super glad to be home. 🙂
